    Q: How do I get an I-Pass?
    A: I-Pass Transponders can be purchased from the Illinois Tollway and at your local Jewel locations. For more information please visit http://www.getipass.com

    Q: Does the Skyway accept I-Pass?
    A: Skyway installed IPASS in June of 2005, you can obtain information via www.getipass.com . I-Pass is installed in the right hand lanes in the direction of travel. Skyway IPASS lanes are gated with a speed limit of 5 mph for your safety.

    Q: Does the Skyway accept EZ-Pass?
    A: Skyway accepts EZ-Pass since September 26, 2005. EZ-Pass is accepted in all I-Pass lanes. These are right hand lanes in the direction of travel.

    Q: Why do you have collectors in the I-Pass lanes?
    A: Toll collectors are used at Skyway in I-Pass/EZ-Pass lanes to assist our users who may have improperly mounted I-PASS, to assist those who may not realize they are in an I-PASS lane and want to pay cash and to collect cash from users for expired or invalid I-Pass transponders.

    Q: I just bought my transponder. Why wont it work on the skyway?
    A: It takes up to 48 hours for your transponder to work on the Skyway. If it does not work after 48 hours please contact the distributor of your transponder.
