Missed Toll Violations If you are without sufficient funds to pay your toll, do not back your vehicle out of the toll lane – it is unsafe. The toll collector or automated payment machine in your lane will issue a toll violation notice to you with payment instructions and customer service information so you can pay your toll within 7 days of the notice date. ALL MISSED TOLL PAYMENTS MUST INCLUDE THE TOLL VIOLATION NUMBER AND LICENSE PLATE NUMBER SO YOUR VIOLATION CAN BE PROPERLY RELEASED. If you make your missed toll payment online, by mail, or in person at our office, within the 7-day grace period, no additional fees will be assessed for the related violation. Please, pay on time to avoid additional fees! Debt Collection Service **Starting June 15, 2017, if you fail to pay your missed toll within the grace period, Skyway will send your violation to our debt collection partner. Once your violation is sent to debt collection, you will be assessed the following collection fees in addition to your original unpaid toll, and you must pay the debt collector directly: Collection Administrative fee $3.00 Collection service fee $25.00 Total collection fees $28.00 *(optional) Debt Collector’s online/phone payment convenience fee $4.95
